Allproof and Firefly Collaborate to Offer the Complete Fire Stopping Solution

This new partnership means Allproof will be importing and distributing Firefly passive fire solutions to complement their own NZ made systems. This expands the range of solutions available on the market and options available to specifiers and installers.

Used to maintain fire resistance in walls, floors and ceilings that have been penetrated by structural or service penetrations, when used with FIREFLY products.
Tested systems encompass steel universal beams, timber beams, C & Z purlins, various service penetrations, power and communications cables (of all sizes and bundles, with or without steel cable trays) as well as VASS, EAE, ABB and IPD electrical busducts with copper or aluminium conductors.

FIREFLY Phoenix

EFLY Phoenix is a lightweight fabric smoke and fire barrier, weighing 500g per m² and is 0.4m thick.

Designed for use in tested passive fire protection solutions.
Used to provide smoke reservoirs and smoke and flame compartmentation or sub division of roof spaces and voids above demountable partitions and suspended ceilings.
Can be used as a smoke barrier in both vertical and horizontal applications.
Ideal for Aged Care Centres amongst others.
Can be retrofitted with minimal disruption to occupants.
Dry installation, simply fixed to existing structure with no studwork required. Seams are stapled with the FIREFLY R31 staple gun and R31 12mm stainless steel staples, using a double fold method to create a neat seal. A continuous perimeter fix is required for smoke compartmentation or sub division.

FIREFLY Plus 60 is a lightweight and flexible fabric cavity fire barrier with an inner core of insulating fire protection.

Used as a fire engineered solution to continue compartment walls up into the roof void, maintaining both the integrity and insulation of the compartmentation between dwellings, lift shafts and stairwells. Ideal for strata units amongst others. Can also be used to provide inside out or outside in fire protection to steel or timber boundary walls. Is a primary component of the FIREFLY BAL-FZ Roof & Wall systems. Easy to install, it’s flexibility and fire rating make it ideal for bespoke applications.

Primary fire stopping component of the Titan Spandrel System. Its flexibility and fire rating make it ideal for bespoke applications.
