FIREFLY Penowrap
Description

A thin, lightweight and flexible wrap comprising extremely high fire and thermal resistance capabilities when used as a component of FIREFLY systems.

Key Features

Dimensions: 10m x 12mm x 300mm.

Density: 167kg/m³.

Scope of Use

Used to maintain fire resistance in walls, floors and ceilings that have been penetrated by structural or service penetrations, when used with FIREFLY products.

Tested systems encompass steel universal beams, timber beams, C & Z purlins, various service penetrations, power and communications cables (of all sizes and bundles, with or without steel cable trays) as well as VASS, EAE, ABB and IPD electrical busducts with copper or aluminium conductors.

 

Limitations on Use

 

Designed for use in tested passive fire protection solutions.

Up to -/240/240 dependent on tested system. For subject FRL refer to referenced reports or to the FIREFLYPFPApp.

Statement of Building Code Compliance

The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

  • Clause C3 Fire affecting areas beyond the fire source: Performance C3.9
  • Clause C4 Movement to place of safety: Performance C4.3

Tested in accordance with AS1530.4 2014 Assessed in accordance with AS4072.1 2005.
