Manufactured in Sweden for more than 25 years, FireShield Architectural White is one of Europe's best selling intumescent coatings. The coating is now available in New Zealand for use in construction and refurbishment through Potter Interior Systems.
Architectural White is used indoors as part of a system for fire insulation of steel, timber and concrete structures to achieve a fire resistance rating. The coating provides compliance of up to 90 minutes on steel and 30/30/30 FRR on plasterboard linings.
FireShield is part of the Living Future Declare status program and carries the Red List Free label. The water-borne paint is Halogen free and environmentally friendly. Sale of the paint is restricted to approved applicators only.
Architectural White achieves an architectural finish and is easy to apply. With a long list of over 30 compatible primers, it can be applied by airless spraying to produce the best results, or can also be applied by roller or brush. A long list of compatible topcoats means indoor load-bearing structural elements can now look fantastic (in any colour, providing better definition of sharp corners). Lower film thickness means fewer coats, lower labour costs and a smooth finish.
Cost effective, with a fast one coat application, FireShield Architectural White pigmented intumescent paint with the Declare label is an ideal intumescent coating.
Potter Interior Systems is now the exclusive NZ distributor of FireShield Architectural White pigmented intumescent paint. Contact Potters for a product presentation or for more information.
