As part of the continuing redevelopment of the Britomart precinct, Cooper & Company are refitting the ground floor of the Australis Nathan building (800m2) to accommodate the new high profile Adidas Rugby Museum.
eboss are assisting Nat Cheshire from Cheshire Architects in the design and specification of the bathroom areas. Construction will start 1 July on a four week programme.
The architect's brief for this is:
To deliver a very cost effective set of facilities that ‘punch above their weight’, by using black as a dominant colour to deliver drama and conceal simplicity, by carefully ‘cherry-picking’ well-designed and robust products from the value commercial end of the market and using value lighting in carefully-composed configurations to create elegant spatial moods.
Below please find draft project documents. Please review these, and outline your solutions to achieving the design requirements. Specifications and details will be determined over the next two weeks.
