Thermotec acoustic lagging may require the addition of other building elements such as plasterboard to achieve the appropriate acoustic rating required by local authorities.

• NZBC B2.3.1 (b) Thermotec Acoustic lagging meets the 15 year performance requirement.
• NZBC C3.4 Thermotec acoustic lagging has been tested in accordance with ISO 5660.1 – 2015 with a Product Group Number Classification of 3.
• NZBC G6.2: When selected and installed correctly Thermotec acoustic lagging systems provide the ability to create a fully compliant solution for acoustic pipe lagging of plumbing and ventilation systems. 
  Specifically, to safeguard people from illness or loss of amenity as a result of noise being transmitted from other occupancies or common spaces, to the habitable spaces of household units.
