Trespa Meteon is a rigorously engineered High Pressure Laminate (HPL) that turns wood-based fibres and resins into a high impact resistant, dimensionally stable building material. Trespa Meteon panels are FSC certified, PEFC certified, BREEM accredited and ISO 14001 certified.

Sustainability became a key part of Trespa’s strategy in 2010. Trespa’s sustainability policy is based on a deeply felt motivation to shift from ‘Being Less Bad’ for the environment to being ‘Good’ and creating new value. Over the years, Trespa has strived to monitor and improve environmental performance and has implemented a number of projects which reflect this. Trespa launched ‘Trespa Second Life’ where facade panels after their service time, instead of being disposed of now can be reused for outdoor furniture and many other applications.

Trespa's sustainability policy is the creation of high-quality and durable products; if a product is durable it lasts long and the environmental impact of its production is spread over a longer time. Trespa is proud that the reference service life for Trespa Meteon panels is set at 50 years. This makes specifying Trespa Meteon on projects an easy choice. With over 150 colours and finishes, Trespa leads the way with creativity and endless design possibilities.

Trespa Meteon has already been installed on a number of buildings across New Zealand, from the eye-catching soffit of Rawhiti Estate, to Te Kura Māori o Ngā Tapuwae school where Trespa has been used as a canvas for cultural narratives particular to mana whenua and the Kura that have been incorporated onto the Trespa panels.

Profix TS20 Concealed fixed flat panel façade system is a unique aluminium vertical rail system specifically designed for use with Trespa Meteon panels.

Suitable for use as a residential or commercial cladding façade up to 4.6 metres
Fixed over a Rigid Air Barrier or Building wrap compliant with NZBC E2/AS1/Table 23: 1 August 2011 and NZS 3604: 2011 as follows:
- With Building Wrap: Up to 'Very High' wind zone at 50 m/s or 1.5 Kpa ULS wind pressure
- With Rigid Air Barrier: Up to 'Extra High' wind zone at 55 m/s or 1.8 Kpa ULS wind pressure
For use in wind zones exceeding 1.8 Kpa wind pressure the system and fixings must be specified as site specific by the system suppliers
Suitable for use in all environments including sea spray and geothermal zones
Suitable for use with either 8.0mm or 10mm Trespa Meteon in vertical panel sizes up to 2.5m x 1.2m. The use of panel sizes exceeding 2.5m must be specified as site specific by the system suppliers

With Building Wrap: Up to 'Very High' wind zone at 50 m/s or 1.5 Kpa ULS wind pressure

Suitable for applications where a serviceability seismic displacement of up to +/- 20mm on an inter-story height of 4m or +/- 0.5% of floor height is required. (The ultimate racking test of the TS-EQ system was 56mm on a 4m floor. The same system achieved 87mm under further testing with no discernible damage to the panels or system)

The use of 0.6mm Trespa and or panel sizes exceeding those above must be specified as site specific and approved by the system suppliers
