SoundDown PAB (Pre-Assembled Battens) Acoustic System for Mass Timber Floors
Description

SoundDown Pre-Assembled Battens (PAB) are acoustic flooring battens manufactured from LVL timber and recycled rubber isolation strips, and form part of the SoundDown PAB Acoustic Floor System.

The Pre-Assembled Battens eliminate the use of multiple loose items, and allows for a simpler and faster process, minimising the risk of poor installation and ensuring optimal acoustic performance. PAB acoustic battens are available in a variety of configurations, with a range of toppings, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. They are ideal for use in Mass Timber Structures where acoustic performance is paramount. The battens may also be used in other acoustic assemblies.

The SoundDown PAB Acoustic Floor System comprises:

  • Maglok Dragonboard (20mm) or 20mm OSB flooring
  • Mammoth acoustic 735 insulation
