Ecotect Solar Analysis

The Louvretec Design Centre employs the use of state of the art Ecotect solar analysis for buildings.  This allows the Design Centre to calculate and design how a building will perform thermally, acoustically and how light and shadow will fall inside and outside of a building.  This then allows the perfect placement of a Louvretec Product such as an Opening Roof on a client’s home or building.  The design team will then superimpose Louvretec Louvres on the building and can produce different solutions for sun protection.  The Design Centre can work out a detailed design for the ideal shading, and calculate the best louvre positioning and pitch angle to fulfil a client’s brief.

Autocad and Solidworks Drawings

The Design Centre looks after all design and development work using Autocad and Solidworks.  The combination of these two powerful tools allows Louvretec to quickly make detailed and accurate shop and fabrication drawings, design new products, customise installations and fixings based on drawings from the product catalogue, technical manuals or previous jobs.

Photoshop

Another service the Louvretec Design Centre offers is the use of Adobe Photoshop.  Photoshop is the digital imaging programme that enhances, changes and manipulates photos.

Louvretec use Photoshop so sales representatives can visually show a client  the possibilities and solutions that a product range can offer.  This gives a realistic visual of what the Louvretec installation will look like in situ.  The Louvretec Design Centre can show colour variations and different sized louvres etc.  This has proven to be an excellent marketing tool.

Also, Louvretec recently launched Louvrecare – a preventative maintenance and valet programme.

What is Louvrecare?  Think of it like a Warrant of Fitness for your car.  Louvrecare is a planned preventative maintenance and valet programme designed especially for your client’s Louvretec product  to keep it in good working order.  Louvrecare  will safely and professionally clean and service a Louvretec Opening Roof which is often hard to reach for example.

The Louvrecare  programme assures that your client’s Louvretec installation is in top condition and is providing optimum performance.   Joining the Louvrecare programme is optional and price is on application.

With Louvrecare’s professionally designed service clients will receive the standard cover offered by the general Louvretec Product Warranty as well as the following additional extras:

• Comprehensive cleaning of the product
• Full testing of moving parts
• Seals Checked
• Waterproofing checked
• General wear and tear checked
• Replacement componentry if needed (as covered under the standard Louvrecare Product Warranty).
