Introducing the 220/35 Slimline Roof Louvre Blade — a stunning solution for matching roofs. This roof louvre is perfect for multi-roof projects that require a combination of a standard Spiral Pivot Opening Roof and a Retractable Roof in one project.

With the 220/35 Slimline, matching roofs has never been easier. It offers the versatility to choose the right fit for a project — a roof that opens and closes at the touch of a button, or a roof that has the added ability to retract its louvres back.

  • The 220/35 Slimline Roof Louvre is compatible as a standard Spiral Pivot Roof as well as a Retract Roof
  • Constructed of aluminium
  • Designed and manufactured locally for New Zealand and Australian conditions
  • Opening Roof Louvres can be motorised or manually adjustable
  • When used as a standard Spiral Pivot Opening Roof, the roof louvres and gutters can be fitted into a frame and posts made of Aluminium, timber, steel or concrete or be fixed directly into a prepared opening in a roof structure. Frame and posts other than Aluminium by others
  • Engineered to meet relevant AS/NZS standards
  • All extrusions manufactured in an ISO quality assured environment to AS1866 and AS3902 standards
  • Plastic injected components (motorised and manual) are UV stabilised
  • Drive axles(motorised and manual) and all fixings are marine grade 316 stainless steel
  • Can be powdercoated, anodised or woodgrain finished to large range of colours
  • Full site measure, design, shop drawing (if required) and installation service provided
  • All louvre panels are custom made
Scope of Use
  • Refer to wind zone chart for spans when used as a Spiral Pivot standard Opening Roof and as a Retract Roof
  • Used as a weather resistant cover over decks/ patios, outdoor restaurants/ bars, outdoor areas, school play areas, smoking areas, pool/spa covers.
  • Suitable for coastal, inland, snow, residential, commercial installation.
  • Standard Spiral Pivot Opening Roofs are generally installed horizontally overhead. Can be installed on an angle. Can be an irregular shape (refer Louvretec design office) and can be motorised or manually adjustable using the Louvretec Spiral Pivot system
  • The Spiral pivot system allows for up to 180° rotation of the louvres
  • Meets the requirements of AS/NZS 1170, NZS3604, AS/NZ 1664
Limitations on Use
  • Refer to wind zone chart for spans when used as a Spiral Pivot standard Opening Roof and as a Retract Roof
  • Louvre/Opening Roof spans are restricted by wind zone. Refer relevant table in Louvretec Design Manual
  • Compatible with Louvretec Sliding Glass Doors, Outdoor Blinds and Sun Louvre systems and Shutters
  • Minimum depth of frame is required. Refer Louvretec design office
  • Opening Roofs cannot be used as a weather proofing solution to a building
  • Supporting structures over 10m high may require specific engineering

In-Service History

Louvrecare valet and service is available. Specified and installed on Double Halo House, Sydney project.

The Louvretec Spiral Pivot system for motorised and manual applications was introduced in 2003 and is used in most Louvretec motorised / manual systems.
