Lockwood Offers New Exidor Panic Exit Devices

Lockwood's new Exidor Panic Exit Devices (PED) provide the ideal functional and fit-for-purpose solution for any PED requirement in a competitive landscape. Whether you’re looking for solutions for timber, steel, UPVC or aluminium doors, Exidor panic hardware and exit devices are available with bolts, vertical or horizontal pullman latches, touch bars, and much more.

Combining attractive design and high-quality engineering, Exidor panic hardware is ideally suited to all commercial buildings where a safe and speedy exit is essential. Pushing the bar down into the door face retracts the bolts. The bolts remain retracted until automatically released on closing of the door.

The Exidor 200 series panic and emergency hardware offers a modern, aesthetically pleasing style giving optimum safety and security, carries the certifire quality mark, is fire rated and is certified to the European standards to ensure peace of mind.

Exidor Panic Exit Devices are available in four different lock configurations:

  • Reversible panic latch (Single Point)
  • Single panic bolt (Two Point)
  • Double door set bolt and latch (Three Point)
  • Double door set panic bolt (Four Point)

Established in 1931 and since developing a global reputation as a leading manufacturer of panic and emergency exit hardware, Exidor was acquired by ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions in 2018. ASSA ABLOY is pleased to introduce this product to the New Zealand market under the Lockwood brand.
