Lockwood Exidor Panic Exit Devices
Description

Lockwood's new Exidor Panic Exit Devices provide the ideal functional and fit for purpose solution for any PED requirement in a competitive landscape. Suitable as a solution for timber, steel, UPVC or aluminium doors, Exidor panic hardware and exit devices are available with bolts, vertical or horizontal pullman latches, and touch bars.

The Exidor 200 series panic and emergency hardware offers a modern, aesthetically pleasing style giving optimum safety and security, carries the certifire quality mark, is fire rated and is certified to the European standards to ensure peace of mind.

Exidor Panic Exit Devices are available in 4 different lock configurations:

  • Reversible panic latch (Single Point)
  • Single panic bolt (Two Point)
  • Double door set bolt and latch (Three Point)
  • Double door set panic bolt (Four Point)

Scope of Use

Combining attractive design and high-quality engineering, Exidor panic hardware is ideally suited to all commercial buildings where a safe and speedy exit is essential. Pushing the bar down into the door face retracts the bolts. The bolts remain retracted until automatically released on closing of the door.

Statement of Building Code Compliance
  • Successfully tested on fire door assemblies in accordance with Australian Standard AS1905.1-2015. Fire Resistant Doorsets.
  • Conforms to the standards as set out in CE EN1125 -2008.
In-Service History

Established in 1931 and since developing a global reputation as a leading manufacturer of panic and emergency exit hardware, Exidor was acquired by ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions in 2018. They are pleased to introduce this product to the New Zealand market under the Lockwood brand.
