• Mammoth underfloor sections are designed for homes with semi-enclosed underfloors
• Mammoth underfloor blanket is designed for homes with fully enclosed underfloors

In the opinion of BRANZ, Mammoth Insulation if designed, used, installed and maintained in accordance with the statements and conditions of this Appraisal, will meet or contribute to meeting the following provisions of the NZBC:

• Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(a) not less than 50 years and B2.3.1(b) 15 years. Mammoth Insulation will meet this requirement 
• Clause E3 Internal Moisture: Performance E3.3.1. Mammoth Insulation will contribute to meeting this requirement. See Paragraphs 13.1 and 13.2
• Clause F2 Hazardous Materials: Performance F2.3.1. Mammoth Insulation meets this requirement and will not present a health hazard to people
• Clause H1 Energy Efficiency: Performance H1.3.1 (a) and H1.3.2 E. Mammoth Insulation will contribute to meeting these requirements. See Paragraphs 14.1 and 14.2.

• Mammoth polyester products are backed by a 50 year manufacturer's warranty
• Non-toxic and Non-irritant: OSH Health and Safety Guidelines for the Selection and Safe Handling of Synthetic Mineral Fibres. Department of Labour, 1194, P18.
• Fire Test:
  • AS1530 Part 3 — Ignitability (0), Spread of Flame (0), Heat Evolved (0) and Smoke Developed (3)
  • AS/NZS 60695.2.11 — Glow wire Flammability test (passed)
  • AS/NZS 60695.11.5 — Needle-flame test (passed)
• VOC Emission Test: Total VOC < 0.005mg/m3 (level below detection) and Formaldehyde; 0.009mg/m3 (level below detection)
• Non Corrosive: AS/NZS4859.1 (Polyester has alkalinity of PH7.8)
• Vermin Resistant: not a food source for vermin (and not treated)
