There are a few ways to retrofit products that BRANZ and MBIE have written articles on, some with and without building paper. Whichever you choose, Mammoth polyester insulation can be used with or without building paper.

Have an old villa or bungalow with sarking boards and no nogs? Mammoth also offers a 70mm, 2.4m long polyester sheet that can be cut to size to suit these applications. A few timber sarking boards can be removed to feed a 2.4m length of insulation in place. This can often be the only practical solution for these walls when access for fitting paper isn’t practical, and most insulation products are available in only small section sizes.
