Triton 50
Description

Triton 50™ is a made in NZ high sound absorbing ceiling panel that is designed to control unwanted noise reverberation. Panels are available in sizes up to 1200 x 2400 mm and in a wide range of decorative acoustic finishes, colours, wood prints and perforated laminate designs. High NRC and CAC 30 for combined acoustic performance.

Manufactured from 48 kg/m³ and 96 kg/m³ bio-soluble glass wool, tissue backed, 320gsm Sonatex™ / Sonaris™ acoustic laminate finish.

Scope of Use

Triton 50/50HD™ is an ideal retrofit acoustic panel for classrooms, offices, community halls when applied directly over plasterboard in large sheets or as a suspended grid and panel ceiling.

Ideal for call centres, open plan offices, halls, classrooms, libraries, etc where a combination of high acoustic absorption is required combined with good attenuation to block noise.

  • NRC 1.00, 50mm thick panel provides superior sound ab-sorption at low to high frequencies in either direct fix over plasterboard or as a suspended ceiling
  • Large panels up to 1200 x 2400mm provide for a cleaner look with fewer panel joins compared to standard 600 x 1200mm size

  • Light weight for seismic areas
Limitations on Use
  • Shall not commence until the building is water tight and dry
  • Light fittings shall be independently supported
  • Back Loading — Max. 1.5 kg/m², point loads shall be independently supported
  • Use hold down clips in areas of wind uplift
  • Not for air return plenums
  • Use Rondo Donn DXW T38 wide faced grid for large module panels (1200 x 1800/2400/3000mm)
  • Max 99% R/H at 45°C
