Asona Triton 50, 50HD, 75, and 100 acoustic ceiling tiles provide additional R values from R1.47 up to R3.0 for low pitched roofing applications. This enables a combined higher value roof/ceiling thermal resistance or can allow lower R value roof insulation to be used with associated cost savings, while still providing high acoustic absorption within the room. Triton Duo 35 and Duo 60 composite tiles also provide additional values R0.74/R1.4 respectively but with high CAC/STC values where rain or other external noise needs to be reduced for room acoustic clarity.
Improving insulation results in less condensation build-up in extreme temperature climates which can contribute to undetected mould growth in cavity spaces.
Using a Rondo Donn seismic grid and Asona R value tile system allows for compact roof/ceiling construction, while still allowing the convenience of access into the plenum area for any service requirements.
A number of these Asona Triton acoustic/thermal tile options have been used in Ministry of Education applications as well as other similar roof/ceiling installations for the combined benefits of high insulation and acoustic properties all in the one product.
Asona Triton acoustic/thermal ceiling tiles are proudly New Zealand which made which reduces carbon footprint, provides short supply lead times and cost-effective solutions.
A healthy environment plus high acoustic occupancy space is a win/win.
