Triton Duo 35
Description

Triton Duo 35™ is a New Zealand made mass loaded 35mm thick composite ceiling panel designed to provide high attenuation of transmitted noise plus absorption to control reverberation times. Panels are available in a range of decorative finishes.

Will attenuate rain noise under metal roofs, plenum noise from A/C ducts, provides room to room privacy with ceiling over partition heads and will reduce reverberation times in office, classrooms, corridors, meeting rooms, etc.

Composition

Manufactured in NZ from 25 mm 48 kg/m³ bio-soluble glass fibre core with a high mass 10mm plasterboard attenuator backer, 320gsm Sonatex™ / Sonaris™ acoustic laminate finishes.

Scope of Use

Triton Duo 35™ is ideal for ceilings under metal roofs to control rain noise, mechanical service noise, buildings near aircraft flight paths, train lines or for private meeting room ceilings.

Suitable for fire exit way and all other sprinklered & non sprinklered buildings.

Limitations on Use
  • Not for exterior use
  • Installation shall not commence until the building is watertight and dry
  • Light fittings shall be independently supported
  • Backloading max. 1.5 kg/m², point loads shall be independently supported
  • Max 99% R/H at 45°C
  • Use hold down clips in areas for seismic or wind uplift
  • Not for air return plenums

  • Fire Reaction — NZBC verification method C/VM2 material group number: 1-S. Suitable for fire exit way and all other sprinklered & non sprinklered buildings
