Providing there is adequate structural support above, these aluminium framed glass bi-folding doors can be used in large openings as wide as 8.6 metres, as shown in the images above. They are an ideal solution for the division of large spaces such as in classrooms, lecture rooms and commercial office spaces. Using a ‘top-roller’ track along with a small recessed floor guide ensures a smooth, stable sliding operation and manual operation is easy.
Potter's new bi-folding doors open right up, maximising the space available. They are often used where some privacy is required but without blocking out the light. When in the closed position, the bi-folding doors can be latched in place to the floor to prevent any unwanted movement. It is no problem to close and latch one set of bi-folds whilst the other side is left in the open position, neatly stacked away off to the side of the room.
Potter's bi-folding doors provide an alternative to multi-sliding door systems and other operable wall systems and are available with an extensive range of powder coated or anodised finishes, which can be rendered to suit almost any interior colour scheme.
