Residential Thermal Heart Drawings Now Online

The drawings, together with a data specification, are accessible online on the Altherm, First and Vantage specifier manuals.

Comfort, warmth and health have been the driving forces behind the launch of this economical portfolio of thermally broken products which combine the impressive pedigree of APL’s market leading residential brands cross-bred with the latest in integral barrier systems.

Leading-edge European technology has been used to stitch a nylon insulation barrier  into every window and door profile so that the transfer of heat and condensation are minimised.

The result is a range that achieves 35% better thermal performance over and above standard double glazed products and an outstanding 130% improvement over standard single glazed windows.

Tech specs in brief:

  • Standard glass IGU of 24mm thickness.
  • Flushline sliding door track with two thermal breaks in frame.
  •  Jointing process for window and door profiles ensures optimum straightness and rigidity.
  •  Frames based on a large 46mm platform ensuring suitability for a wide range of residential projects.
  •  Doors generally suitable to heights of 2.1m in ‘very high’ wind zones.
