Window and door flashings are typical ingress points for moisture. Sill flashing tapes provide a barrier, but adhesion problems during temperature extremes and compatibility issues with sealants can render traditional tapes ineffective and leave these areas vulnerable. Marshall Innovations offers a weathertight alternative.
SUPER-STICK is a high-performance window and door flashing tape designed to withstand weather extremes and can be installed in temperatures as low as minus five degrees Celsius. Utilising a high tack pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) and a toughened film, SUPER-STICK will adhere to damp surfaces, is compatible with most sealants (minimising plasticiser migration) and can be used with plywood and fibre-cement RAB systems. Super-Stick's peel and stick application makes installation easy with no primers or heat guns required.
Containing no VOC's, HFCC's or CFC's, SUPER-STICK is a clean, green building tape solution.
SUPER-STICK has been BRANZ appraised as a stand alone solution but also forms part of Marshall's three-part (BRANZ appraised) Tekton Weatherisation System. The system has been designed to simplify the weathertight equation for architects and specifiers by bringing together three leading waterproofing products – Tekton Flexible Wall Underlay, Tekton Seam Tape, SUPER-STICK and Trade Seals – in one compatible and easy-to-use system.
Marshall Innovations works closely with builders, architects and councils to create solutions and systems that deliver a waterproof building envelope on all buildings from small residential to large commercial projects.
