Description

Minima sliding doors offer a new look, emphasising minimalist profile sizes and slimline tracks at sill, head and jamb. To create the clearest vision lines, the frame is designed to be recessed into floor, walls and ceiling.

Key Features
  • Recommended maximum 4000mm high doors in Very High wind zones (panel width maxima will depend on wind zone and aspect ratio)
  • The frame and track system are recessed into floor, walls and ceiling
  • The concealed sill track is completely hidden beneath a threshold that allows for suitable flooring materials to be overlaid, leaving an 11mm-wide slot
  • The bottom rail has a height of only 22mm, with glass edge flush with frame at jamb and head
  • Due to the heavy panel weight and the need for a perfectly level sill, floor sag cannot be tolerated; ground level applications are optimum
  • Vertical members between panels are 30mm wide when viewed from front and back, with two different fin sizes to suit the application
  • 90° corner sliding doors available (internal and external corners)
  • An almost unlimited range of configurations is available
Scope of Use
  • Suitable for architecturally designed residential and commercial applications, especially at ground level where solid support is available
  • Ideal for overheight sliding doors in Very High wind zones (also suitable for Extra High wind zones and Specific Design applications in adjusted sizes)
Limitations on Use
  • Careful detailing is required to allow for deeply recessed frame at sill, jambs and head
  • Due to panel weight and the need for perfectly level sills, ground level installations are recommended. Geotechnical engineering is important
  • Installation to be by an approved installer
