Utilising Kingspan's own high-performance closed cell insulated roof (KS1000 RW) and wall (KS1000 MR) panel systems, the premises at 97 Montreal Street are spacious, warm and inviting.
Kingspan's unique high-performance closed cell insulation core is fundamental to the panel system in terms of thermal and fire performance. This combined with the robust engineering of the Kingspan trapezoidal roof panel, with its steel facings and superior joint design, make it unparalleled as a weather-resilient, airtight, low energy and highly fire resistant solution. The Trapezoidal RW panel is both GreenTAG Gold and CodeMark certified and offers superior R-values. The Kingspan office utilised a 60mm roof panel, offering an R-value of 3.36.
Similarly, the Architectural Wall Panel system combines high-performance with aesthetics. Also weather and air tight, the Kingspan AWP panel's steel exterior and interior lining is available in a range of coatings and colours, for standard, coastal and high humidity environments and is suitable as an external façade element in either horizontal or vertical applications. For its own building Kingspan has utilised an 80mm panel which offers an R-value of 4.15.
The Kingspan philosophy is evident with the new New Zealand head office. Gene Murtagh, Kingspan Group CEO says "The way we build can be more effective and reach higher standards than ever before. We can make our buildings really work for us; consuming and generating energy smartly to become real investments in our future."
