Built by Goodwood Systems Ltd, this housing project in Christchurch uses Ergo Board as an internal lining.
"The reason we chose the Ergo Board was because it was eco-friendly, easy to install, offered fire resistance, noise reduction and bracing elements," says Duncan Laing, Governing Director of Goodwood Systems Ltd. "When it came to installing the panels, the shiplap and tongue and groove edge profiles made installation easier and required less people than similar installations with other products, which meant that it also reduced labour costs."
"The horizontal lines look great on both the ceilings and walls, giving a perception of airtightness and a modern and architectural look," he adds.
IBS Ergo Board provides easy and ergonomic handling as a lightweight "one-man-lift-panel" for fast installation. It is designed with special shiplap and tongue and groove edge profiles, complete with nailing grid on the surface. Due to its design, installers are also able to achieve a 2mm negative detail around each sheet. IBS Ergo Board can be installed vertically or horizontally.
Manufactured in Germany, the environmentally friendly Ergo Board is created from renewable and sustainable resources and is characterised by low emission due to 100% formaldehyde-free resin and high performance by optimised strands in three crosswise orientated layers.
