Next Generation is a health and lifestyle club aimed at members who desire the highest quality fitness and hospitality experience.

The Next Generation Café works as a commercial kitchen for members of the gym and operates as a catering service for a conference centre, along with a number of function and event spaces.

Aimed at the premium health and fitness market, Food and Beverage Manager MJ Quinn says that the design of the hospitality facilities – like the rest of the club – needed to be high quality, super presentable, well-designed and attractive.

"We have different people using the club for different reasons – individuals, families, business networkers – so everything needed to be of the highest quality," says MJ. "Our members are very discerning and proud of their club, and presenting a place they are proud of and will be happy to bring associates to, is paramount."

As Next Generation Café's kitchen space is open clearly to public view, the kitchen's design needed to reflect a high end, premium product and a clean, fresh-looking food service environment from top to bottom, as everything would be on show. 

Fenta Ceiling Tiles were chosen as the optimum ceiling tiles for Next Generation Café and the kitchenette spaces within the facility.

"In terms of the ceiling tiles, we chose Fenta because it was a premium ceiling tile that met every expectation in terms of cleanliness and super reflectivity," says MJ.

"We can be catering for business meetings, functions and conference attendees, as well as our daily catering for club members. We needed to ensure that the hospitality areas reflected the high end nature of the club – so we choose only high end products," adds MJ.

Raj Balamysi, the Assistant Head Chef for Next Generation agrees on the choice of the Fenta Ceiling Tiles.

"Members can see what we are doing inside the kitchen area so everything needs to be at a high standard," says Raj. "What works is that the ceiling is shiny, bringing a brighter light into the space and it is also easy to clean. That is very useful in terms of keeping high levels of hygiene for our members."
