EGGER OS'Brace RAP Speeds Up Construction Process

EGGER OS'Brace RAP is an Orientated Strand Board Rigid Air Protection and Bracing Panel. It's a high quality, moisture-resistant, innovative and environmentally sustainable structural bracing panel designed and manufactured specially for the New Zealand building and construction industry.

EGGER OS'Brace RAP is an engineered lightweight composite structural panel which is treated to H3.1 level using a method where the chips themselves are treated prior to being bonded, making the panel fully treated. EGGER OS'Brace RAP is lightweight and safe which makes it simple to install and easy to cut, nail, screw, and drill.

EGGER OS'Brace RAP has been designed to be used as an interior wall panel and external primary wall-bracing element, or rigid air barrier for buildings constructed of timber framing, which fall within the scope of sec 1.1, NZS 3604 (2011).

A benefit of installing EGGER OS'Brace RAP is that building wrap is not required if taping the joints according to the instructions. Taking the place of building wrap, EGGER OS'Brace RAP can speed up construction as it accomplishes two tasks; a bracing element, and a weather protection barrier enabling progression to occur in the interior.

EGGER OS'Brace RAP has been Codemarked, giving users the confidence in the product as it meets all New Zealand Standards according to purpose.
