The new palette was developed by a panel of eleven of New Zealand’s foremost architects and designers. The ArchitecturalSeries is a contemporary take on natural colours, providing the freedom to design and create in even the most diverse of environments.  New Zealand Steel aims to make it as simple as possible for architects to incorporate a distinctly local hue into their designs.

As with the original Colorsteel colours launched by New Zealand Steel in 1982, Di Lucas, from Lucas and Associates landscape architects, has once again helped to name the new colours.  Each colour’s name represents a unique aspect of New Zealand’s landscape allowing the experiential elements of each colour to come to mind.

With the launch of the ArchitecturalSeries specifiers can now, more than ever, strongly express the inherent structural and natural beauty of New Zealand.
