ARDEX Butynol: A New Zealand-Made Roofing Membrane

Butynol was first manufactured at the ARDEX Christchurch facility over 30 years ago and ARDEX is now the only butyl membrane manufacturer in Australasia.

Decades of experience in manufacturing and installation has led ARDEX to develop training programmes to ensure that applicators of ARDEX Butynol are specially trained and experienced in various application methods. ARDEX Butynol is a registered trademark and genuine Butynol is only available through ARDEX approved applicators.

ARDEX Butynol will protect against water, regardless of whether it's laid on a high pitched roof with a good run-off or a flat roof subject to periodic ponding. This synthetic rubber membrane resists ageing from heat, sunlight and ozone, and has excellent gas impermeability, is tough and remains flexible at low temperatures.

ARDEX Butynol is BRANZ Appraised and has been proven to provide a durable, extremely long-lasting roofing system with the flexibility to conform to the shape of virtually any roofing profile.

Ideal for residential and commercial applications, ARDEX Butynol has been used to waterproof thousands of New Zealand buildings as well as in Australia and the South Pacific, and has a long, proud history.
