Woodland Lifestyle Strand-Woven Bamboo Flooring
Description

Strand-woven bamboo flooring is a way of achieving the look and feel of deeply polished exotic hardwood without the expense. Its naturally higher density and hardness mean it has excellent under-foot feel, and resists indentation. Strand-woven bamboo is manufactured from the renewable, fast-growing Moso species.

Scope of Use
  • Suitable for installation in kitchens under NZBC clause E3 (alternative solution must be submitted) 
  • Residential flooring
  • Light commercial flooring
  • Suitable for lounge, bedroom, hallway, dining and other rooms where flooding, sitting water or extreme humidity are unlikely
  • Recommended to be installed over EVA or IXPE underlay for improved under-foot feel and heat and sound insulation
  • Floating installation
  • Suitable for stairs with glued installation
  • Range of accessories available including stair nosing, skirtings, reducers, and expansion covers
Limitations on Use
  • Not intended or recommended for wet areas such as bathrooms or laundries
  • Not intended for exterior use
  • While Woodland Bamboo is very hard and resistant to indentation, the polished surface appearance can show small scratches caused by dragging furniture and large dog claws. Homes with large dogs may be better suited to Woodland Strata with its textured and harder wearing surface
