Description

Bi-fold doors and windows share the same profiles and operating system. Panels are bottom rolling with the weight carried on the sill.

The roller and guide are pivoting inserts within the door stiles thus optimising overall ease of operation. Door panels are 50mm deep and are bead glazed externally on all sides for glass thicknesses of 4-28mm.

  • The system is bottom rolling with an in-frame track for optimum panel support
  • A high-performance series of windows and doors designed for suitability for Extra High and Specific Design applications
  • A unique split stile feature ensures panels move smoothly when built in large sizes
  • The track uses an aluminium insert (black anodised) for roller wear
  • A flush sill track is available for sheltered locations
Scope of Use
  • Suitable for most residential environments in larger sizes
  • A good option for maximum opening and ventilation
  • Need to be used in defined maximum sizes according to the wind exposure
  • Designed for suitability for Extra High and Specific Design applications
Limitations on Use
  • Recommended maximum 2700mm high doors in Extra High wind zones
  • Open bi-folds need to be monitored in windy conditions
  • In closed position bi-fold door stiles impact views
Statement of Building Code Compliance
  • Designed, tested and manufactured to meet NZS 4211: Performance of Windows, and NZS 4233:  Glazing in Buildings, Parts 1-4
  • Designed and tested to conform to NZ Building Code, including Clause E2

  • Launched in 2004
  • Design upgrades regularly released
  • Widely used by homeowners, builders and specifiers
Other Performance Attributes
  • Window and door warranty provided under normal conditions of use against failure of materials and workmanship for a period of five years
  • Surface finish is covered by a separate performance warranty dependent on the actual finish selected
  • A hardware/componentry warranty is offered against defects in manufacturing, functionality and surface finish for a period of five years, provided care and maintenance guidelines have been followed
