Description

The StoArmat Miral Plaster System provides protection and finish for EPS/ICF block construction. The EPS/ICF Blocks are base coated and levelled with LevelLite to provide a thick solid plaster base for additional reinforcement: StoArmat plaster plus StoMesh. The façade is then finished with the perfect interlocking components: StoLit finishing render plus a StoCoating of choice.

Installations are carried out by a Sto Registered Licensed Building Practitioner with the added protection of a 15 or 20 year Sto System Warranty and 5 year renewable Workmanship Warranty plus Maintenance Schedule.

Scope of Use

The StoArmat Miral Plaster System on EPS / ICF Block has been appraised as solid plaster systems for buildings within the following scope:

  • Up to 3 storeys, with a maximum height from ground to eaves of 10 m.
  • For Supporting structures designed and constructed in accordance with the NZBC. 
  • Suitable for use in all Wind Zones of NZS 3604 up to, and including, ‘Extra High’.  

The StoArmat Miral Plaster System has also been appraised for bond, durability and weathertightness.

Must only be applied on vertical surfaces except for sills, concrete reinforced parapets and concrete reinforced balustrades. For use with aluminium window and door joinery that is installed with vertical jambs and horizontal heads and sills.

Statement of Building Code Compliance

StoArmat Miral Plaster System for EPS / ICF / Polystyrene Block Construction:

The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

  • Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(b), B2.3.1(c)
  • Clause E2 External moisture: Performance E2.3.2
  • Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1

Note: The StoArmat Miral Plaster Systems meet the performance requirements of NZBC Clause B2.3.1 (b), 15 years for the plaster finishes, and the performance requirements of NZBC Clause B2.3.1 (c), 5 years for the exterior paint system.
