10 colours to choose from with high-quality pigments & UV inhibitors. A clear coating option is available that is free of colour pigments for applications where the raw beauty of the timber is the key requirement.
Limitations on Use
This product is mainly used on exterior applications but can also be used on a variety of interior timber applications
Drying times and coverage rates may vary due to a variety of factors such as seasonal temperature, the timber porosity, moisture content (below 18% required), the timber type, and previous coats applied
Avoid applying excess product to the surface as it will not dry. To deliver the optimum quantity, JSC recommend a trial application on offcuts prior to undertaking the actual coating
Due to the fast-drying nature of JSC Scumble, application tools may become clogged. Therefore, a periodic rinse in Isopropyl alcohol is recommended
Unlike paints, it is difficult to predict precisely how the coating will look once applied, as the appearance of stain coatings is influenced by the finish, grain, and colour of your chosen timber specie. Due to timber being a natural product, the timber specie and grain varies as will the finished product
