Service Plus Install Solutions Ltd is an aligned installer for James Hardie products, specialising in the pre-clad lining HomeRAB and RAB Board — supply and install.

As part of their install they require a 75mm tape for joins and 150 or 200mm tape for sills. Previously, Service Plus Install Solutions used another sealing tape brand which they found very time-consuming and difficult to use. During the winter months they had to use heat guns or adhesive sprays to ensure the product fixed to the frame and HomeRAB. Still, it would not stick and they often had to return to jobs to re-apply. There was an improvement in summer, however it got very messy on hot days and often left residue in vehicles, from overheating and sticking to whatever it sat next to.

Service Plus were introduced to Super-Stick eight months ago, and Managing Director Sharon Weir says that — in her opinion — it is a far superior product and easy to use. It is thinner and more workable and comes in small rolls so storage is no problem. There is no residue when stored and transported in vehicles, and it always sticks and is quick to install.
