Jasmax Architects was assigned the task of creating a modern and unique ceiling layout, giving a sense of openness yet masking the plenum above. Open Cell was chosen for this project as it permitted full accessibility to the services above ceiling level, allowing standard ongoing maintenance.

The Open Cell tiles are a versatile solution for a variety of commercial applications, such as specialty shops, supermarkets, shopping malls, food courts, airports and transport terminals, showrooms, receptions, foyers and lift lobbies.

Armstrong Metalworks Open Cell is available in global white as 600 mm x 600 mm and 1200 mm x 600 mm tiles in four different cell size configurations. The metal tiles are designed to be installed with Armstrong PeakForm Suprafine 15 mm grid.

At 2 kg per square metre, Armstrong Metalworks Open Cell is an ideal lightweight solution for seismically restrained ceilings in high-traffic areas.
