Laminated safety glass can be used in many situations such as in joinery, canopies, roof lighting, balustrades, cladding, flooring, partitions and many others.  One of the most exciting features of the Metro EVA interlayer is the ability to laminate inserts into the glass.  These can be decorative or translucent images and colours.

The glass is manufactured locally by Metro and complies with all NZ standards and building codes.  Local production allows almost an unlimited variety of glass types to be used to meet individual demands.  

The Safelite Effects range can meet the need for digital printing whether for a bus stop, for a translucent vibrant colour balustrade, or a residential high resolution feature wall.  The colour effects that can be achieved include ceramic inks, printed PET coloured films, photo quality images, metallic, mesh, fabrics and much more, in sizes up to 2400 x 4500mm.
