This KerMac project was for the supply and installation of the KerMac K-Freestanding cubicle system which stands fixed to the floor with no headrails. The no headrail look creates an open, uncluttered, minimalist style while also providing the necessary privacy as partitions and doors are 1900mm off the finished floor.
The cubicles were finished in Fenix ‘Nero Ingo’ NanoTech matt black anti-fingerprint HPL. This finish provides a high-end look, with its low light reflectivity and soft touch texture becoming very popular in the marketplace.
This versatile K-Freestanding system can be produced in 13mm compact laminate or as in this case, HPL laminate on 18mm and 30mm Moisture resistant MDF Board. KerMac can vary the height of the cubicles as required by clients although 1900mm is the standard height.
These quality cubicles are finished with stainless steel hardware and fittings and are fitted with attractive stainless steel blade surrounds which contribute to stabilising the system and ensure cleaners don’t damage finished panels while polishing the floors.
Kerry McAuliffe, managing director of KerMac comments, “This is the first time we have used the anti-fingerprint laminate for toilet cubicles in matt black and we found it has great clean down properties because of the anti-fingerprint technology and anti-bacterial properties. The benefit of using this particular product with our freestanding floor-based system is that it creates a finish that keeps these cubicles looking clean and fresh."
Kerry added, “We worked with Complete Construction on this project — they did the restaurant and outdoor space conversions. They have been great to work with on this and other projects over the years."
