KerMac Industries has recently completed installation of new bathroom cubicles at the LynnMall Shopping Plaza renovations for Kiwi Properties. Kiwi Properties approached KerMac Industries with a special design brief in February, with a strict lead time to minimise closure times of the bathrooms while renovations took place.

The K-Moda Blade system was chosen with 13mm Moldau Acacia compact laminate panels from Project Laminates (NZ) Ltd. Full height cubicles were required with varying ceiling heights throughout the different bathrooms. This is becoming more and more popular in the New Zealand market as it provides enhanced privacy and a cleaner aesthetic than standard height cubicles. For this project, the cubicles featured full height front panels, as well as floor-to-ceiling and extended dividers and doors for increased privacy. It is possible for full height dividers and doors to be provided for complete privacy.

Kerry McAuliffe from KerMac Industries worked closely with Architect Melanija Radak and Tenancy Manager Gabriel Pecchio from Kiwi Properties to achieve their specific design vision for the cubicles.
Black powdercoated 200mm Blade pedestals also featured as part of the K-Moda Blade system, creating a striking contrast to the wood grain compact laminate panels.
