Created by Jenkin Timber, a respected name in the New Zealand building industry since 1922, Jenkin A-lign was launched in 2007. It was designed in response to a growing interest in traditional cladding, and was developed from a base of extensive research and investment in some of the world’s best wood engineering technology. The BRANZ-appraised system is now being specified for new houses and commercial buildings, it has also been increasingly chosen for leaky home re-cladding.
The use of Jenkin A-lign by specifiers is supported with CAD files in nine different formats.
For builders, the system allows efficient installation of quality, reliable timber weatherboard cladding. Factoring in its growing popularity with builders include long board lengths, pre-cut scribers and boxed corners that fit perfectly. The system is made from strong, durable, finger-jointed treated pine, all delivered primed and undercoated.
Jenkin A-lign complements Jenkin’s long-established Tru-Pine brand timber weatherboards, which have long held leading positions in the New Zealand and Australian markets.
Jenkin also stocks fascias, facings, and exterior mouldings, which complement both classic and contemporary house designs.
