Create a Concrete Look with Block and Mold Tiles

Concrete is versatile; it comes to life without any shape creating countless options, from smooth finishes to rough surfaces and very diverse aesthetics. Refin has used this as inspiration to bring together the Master Plan collection featuring the new Block, and Mold porcelain tiles.

Mold evokes the characteristics of concrete manually mixed by skilled carpenters and craftsmen and then cast in formworks or moulds. The craftsmen use their tools to blend the concrete with rocks and gravel of varying coarseness, while the moulding is a technique where concrete material is processed into a shape of its own. Mold is available in stock from Jacobsen in Iron 600 x 600mm, and Nickel 600 x 600mm. Other sizes and colours are available on indent.

Block draws inspiration from concrete in the form closest to the natural elements it is made of: rock, clay and limestone. Gravel and rocks of varying coarseness emerge to the surface, as if immersed in concrete in a semi-liquid state. Block is available in stock from Jacobsen in Mist 600 x 600mm and Cinder 600 x 600mm. Other sizes and colours are available on indent.

Refin tiles are distributed in New Zealand by Jacobsen Creative Surfaces. A private, family business established in 1962, Jacobsen has a reputation for quality products and has been providing expert service to the industry in New Zealand for over 55 years.
