The Hale Multipurpose System is an all-purpose system, supreme in design and privacy. For the Auckland International Airport Toilet Block 2, a customised version of the Hale Manufacturing Multipurpose partition system was introduced to meet the design and specification requirements of the architect and designers.

With over-height cubicles, CF2 'bullet' style pedestals and every alternating fascia a different size, this customised system not only offers additional privacy, but also brings a sophisticated elegance to the interior of the toilet block.

The Hale Multipurpose Partition System uses 13mm Compact Laminate. The 13mm Compact Laminate is certified antimicrobial to JIS Z 2801:2001 and proven to prevent the growth of bacteria and fungi on the surface up to 99% within 24 hours. The antimicrobial properties introduce an additional layer of hygienic protection through the utilisation of silver-ion. Silver technology is widely recognised as an efficient and safe antimicrobial treatment by providing protection against a wide range of bacteria, mould and fungi throughout the lifetime of the panel.

In addition to the antimicrobial properties, the 13mm Compact Laminate is recommended for high or low abuse areas such as toilets and showers, offers maximum resistance to graffiti, vandalism, water and impact, and can be hosed down for cleaning. These features make the Compact Laminate board the ideal product to stand up to the bumps and knocks of passengers in and out of the cubicles with luggage.

As with most of the Hale Manufacturing partition systems, this customised Hale Multipurpose System also features emergency lift-off gravity hinges, allowing for easy removal of the partition door for quick access to the cubicle in case of emergencies. The Wave Coat hook / door stop is standard with all Hale systems. This combination coat hook and door stop is surface mounted and concealed fixed and comes standard with a rubber stopper. All Hale Manufacturing hardware and extrusions are fixed with stainless steel fixings.

Hale Manufacturing offers a ten year guarantee on the 13mm Compact Laminate panels and a two year guarantee on the hardware and installation.
