ClimateLine’s New Two-Piece Trim System Ensures Faster Installation and Easier Deconstruction

ClimateLine from Climate Surfaces offers a fast and easy solution for commercial interior refurbishments. It is a pre-decorated plasterboard panel that can be used for walls and ceilings, eliminating the need for plastering and painting, reducing plaster dust and paint fumes while helping to complete projects faster. ClimateLine is made in Auckland New Zealand and is Global GreenTag certified providing credits towards Green Star and Homestar rated projects.

Climate Surfaces has recently introduced a new finishing trim system that enhances the functionality and aesthetics of ClimateLine. The trim system consists of a base and facer pieces that click together to create a clean finish that can also be easily removed to replace the panel if needed, making maintenance and repairs a breeze. Once removed, the panels can be recycled into gypsum fertiliser by Green Gorilla. The trim system is colour matched using the same powder coating that is applied to the plasterboard for exact colour consistency. Available in various profiles, such as skirting, scotia, panel jointer and corners, and can be fixed onto steel or timber framing.

ClimateLine is compliant with the New Zealand Building Code and comes with a 10-year warranty. The reaction to fire rating is the highest Group 1-S, making it an ideal alternative to pre-finished wood-based wall panelling. It is available in a range of colours, including whites, matt black and custom colours, sizes and board types, such as wet area board and high-density board for improved acoustic performance. ClimateLine is the perfect choice for architects, designers and builders who want to refurbish commercial spaces with minimal hassle and maximum speed.

Available from Comfortech and Climate Surfaces.
