It's no mystery that in the New Zealand summer your outdoor area is where the magic happens, where the kids or grandkids play for hours, friends and family get together for barbecues, and memories are made. When you decide to go ahead and renovate your home, choices around which elements to add and who you choose to get in to transform your space is a decision you should not take lightly.
During this Devonport renovation, the back section of the house and garden was completely transformed. The client decided on a large area of operable louvres that spanned the length of the back verandah in three separate sections with three separate remotes, allowing total flexibility of light and shelter control for all seasons. ACMF's louvres are locally fabricated in their Auckland factory and bespokely designed for every space. The combination of the mechanical/operable louvres and outdoor heaters has enabled outdoor dining all year round. ACMF's black aluminium pool fencing and premium glass balustrades were installed creating the illusion of an open space while providing the necessary safety requirements.
This killer combination of outdoor elements installed by the ACMF team has completely transformed the space adding huge value to the clients' home.
In the dappled light of the afternoon, we sit by the pool with an espresso or a cold glass of chardonnay. The sun streams through the louvres on the back verandah while the kids go in and out of the glass balustrade gate, taking turns jumping in the pool.
