Technoform Thermal Break PA66GF25
Description

Standard Technoform thermal breaks are made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide. Thermal breaks used in windows are designed to minimise heat transfer between the interior and exterior components of the window frame, improving energy efficiency and reducing the risk of condensation by providing an insulating barrier. This helps maintain a more comfortable indoor environment and enhances the overall performance of the window in terms of energy conservation and moisture control.

Key Features
  • Thermal Insulation: Effectively reduces heat transfer through building components
  • Condensation Prevention: Minimises the risk of moisture-related issues like condensation and mould
  • Energy Efficiency: Enhances a building's energy efficiency, reducing heating and cooling costs
  • Condensation: Increase window frame internal temperature, reducing the risk of condensation
  • Durability: Resistant to wear, weather, and corrosion, ensuring long-term performance
  • Compatibility: Suitable for various construction materials, such as aluminium and steel
  • Improved Comfort: Maintains stable indoor temperatures for occupant comfort
  • Sustainability: Supports sustainable building practices by reducing energy consumption
Scope of Use

The intended purpose:

  • Separates internal and external sections of an aluminium window frame
  • Reduces heat flow through aluminium window frames
  • Reduces the risk of condensation forming on the surface of window frames
  • Can be used to help achieve H1 energy efficincy requirements of the NZBC

Where can the product be used:

Technoform thermal breaks can be used anywhere aluminium windows are used.

  • Residential buildings: detached, semi detached, terraced housing and apartments
