TGI-M Warm Edge Spacer
Description

Standard double glazing uses an aluminium spacer, the Technoform TGI Warm Edge Spacer is a substitute that can be used anywhere aluminium spacers are used to significantly increase the thermal performance of window joinery.

The Technoform TGI-M Warm Edge high performance spacer reduces the heat loss and heat gain through an aluminium window whilst significantly reducing the risk of condensation forming on the periphery of the glass. Technoform's Warm Edge spacer is constructed of UV resistant polypropylene and stainless steel for long lasting durability.

The TGI-M Warm Edge is a cost effective way to improve the overall thermal performance of windows, without increasing the cost of the glass used.

Key Features
  • Increases edge of glass surface temperature
  • Reduced risk of condensation
  • Lowers window conductivity by 0.1 to 0.2 W/㎡K
  • Highly cost effective means to increase thermal performance of window joinery
  • Impervious stainless steel backing to prevent argon leakage and moisture ingress
  • High UV resistance
  • Suitable for large double and triple glazed units
  • Available in a range of standard sizes to suit varying overall insulating unit thickness
  • Matte finish to reduce reflected light
  • Designed and manufactured in Germany
  • Passive house certified component
  • Available in a range of colours for specific projects
