Description

Clearview Capped Balustrade is a semi-frameless glass balustrade offering a great balance of unobstructed views and security. Clearview Capped has an interlinking handrail fixed to the top of the balustrade post. Toughened Safety Glass is used with the handrail to achieve compliance as a balustrade.

Scope of Use

The system is suitable for:

  • Residential and commercial
  • External and internal
  • Pool fence applications
Limitations on Use

As of June 2016 Clearview semi-frameless balustrades must have a handrail or top capping on toughened glass or approved alternative glass solution to comply with NZS 4223.3 2016. 

This system is not suitable for the following occupancy types:

  • C1/C2: Areas where people may congregate with tables and fixed seating (e.g. restaurants, bars)
  • C5: Areas susceptible to over-crowding
  • D: Retail areas
