This exterior sensor is designed for wall mounting and suitable for exposed weather locations due to the IP55 housing. Intended applications include residential housing, and for commercial, institutional and industrial locations.

• Cabling allows for looping via two power entry gaskets, and can be wired from the rear

This sensor is not designed to mount or detect accurately from a ceiling or eave. An exterior ceiling mount situation should instead use SIMX Smartsense PRO.
