An environmentally friendly building solution, The Graphex System incorporates Neopor, an insulating product developed by BASF and used worldwide. Neopor is a graphite composite made from expanded graphite amalgamated granules. The superior raw materials and advanced processes used, makes it one of the most eco-efficient insulating materials from both an economic and environmental standpoint.
These Neopor beads are expanded and made into solid gray blocks. The solid blocks are then cut into panels of different thicknesses. Insulating materials made of Neopor offers a higher insulating capacity using less raw material. They are gentle on the environment and on the wallet.
The Graphex insulating system symbolizes a modern, ecologically sound life style. It is Insulation Redefined.
Superior Insulation:
The Graphex System's superior insulating properties make it super energy efficient. It saves you money while taking better care of our environment.
Infrared absorbers or infrared reflectors make it possible to greatly reduce thermal conductivity. The permeability of the graphite material to radiant heat is greatly restricted, resulting in exceptional insulation.
Insulation Values for Graphex with R1.8 batts on a 20mm cavity:
Graphex 40mm = 2.79
Graphex 60mm = 3.14
Eco-efficiency:
The eco-efficiency analysis looks at products and processes from an economic and environmental standpoint in order to find which ones are the most efficient. Compared with alternative products, insulating materials made from Neopor offer greater benefits at a lower cost and with less environmental pollution.
