Description

The Storm range stands out with its bold lines and strong design. It is a squared off version of the popular Series 7000. Storm is perfectly suited for high use areas combining the benefits of Compact Laminate and a substantial aluminium framework. It is ideal for schools and public toilets.

Minimal dirt traps ensure cubicles are easily cleaned, with the option of self-opening and self-closing doors.

Scope of Use

Resco's partitions are used in communal toilet, shower or change room facilities to offer privacy.

The compact laminate panels that Resco uses are extremely versatile, allowing them to be installed in wet and high-abuse environments.

Ideal for for schools and public toilets.

Limitations on Use

In case of unisex facilities, Resco recommends building solid walls running floor to ceiling. Resco's partitioning systems are a standard height of 1976mm with a 160mm gap on the bottom.

Open-out doors are more prone to damage; it is recommended cubicles use an open-in door option.

Statement of Building Code Compliance

Resco's Storm partitioning system meets the following provisions of the NZBC:

Clause B2 Durability: the code requires 5 years — Resco compact laminate has a 10 year guarantee on the panel.
Clause C Fire Safety: Resco compact laminate has a group rating of 3 which meets the surface finish requirements for C/AS1 — C/AS7.
Clause E3 Internal Moisture: surfaces of building elements likely to be splashed must be impervious and easily cleaned; Resco compact laminate meets these requirements.
Clause G1 Personal Hygiene: sanitary fixtures shall provide appropriate privacy, allow effective cleaning, avoid dirt or germs and facilitate sanitation; Resco cubicles are designed to meet these requirements.
Clause G1 AS1 Accessibility: personal hygiene facilities provided for people with disabilities shall be accessible; Resco cubicles are designed to meet these requirements.

In-Service History

Resco has been at the forefront in New Zealand in introducing and innovating toilet and shower block solutions. Resco's products have been installed over the last 20 years. All of its panel is compact laminate — this is the right product for these often wet, high use and abuse areas.

Originating in Europe in the 1959, compact laminate has proven popular throughout the world and is the main choice for cubicles in Europe, America, Asia and Australasia.
