Limitations on Use
  • Can be manufactured from plain Zincalume, paint coated steel and aluminium
  • No end lapping
  • Purlin centres for roof cladding to be at 500mm
  • If using for a wall cladding please contact Dimond Roofing
  • Oil-canning, flatness or waviness is a condition that may occur when using wide pan profiles
  • Plywood substrate required in Extra High & SED (specific engineering design) wind zones
  • Vented underlay required in all installation applications
  • Extreme wind events may cause sound reverberation
  • Dimond CAD details must be used in specification

Statement of Building Code Compliance

Test information available from Pacific Coilcoaters and BHP NZ Steel, and past history of use of long run metal roofing and cladding products in New Zealand indicate that, provided the product use and maintenance is in line with the guidelines contained in the current literature referenced (see Dimond Roofing website) Dimond long run metal roofing and wall cladding systems can be expected to meet the performance criteria in clause B2 and E2 of the New Zealand Building Code, for a period of not less than 15 years.
