Staron Basins are manufactured from Staron Solid Surface, a durable and versatile product that is made from safe natural minerals refined from bauxite and blended with pure acrylic resin to create a high-performance solid surface.

Perfect for residential and commercial washroom spaces, Staron Basins are fully integrated with the Staron bench. The inconspicuous joining method requires no silicon and eliminates dirt-trapping crevices, and mould.

Staron Solid Surfaces is Group 1S Fire rated to C/VM2 (NZ) & Group 1 Fire rated to AS5637.1 (AUS), does not contain harmful silica and backed by a 10 year warranty.

B2 Durability compliant: 10-year warranty avaliable, acrylic solid surface is repairable and renewable and can effectively last a lifetime.
C Protection from fire compliant, Clause C3 Fire effecting areas beyond fire source: Group 1S Fire rated to C/VM2 in accordance with AS ISO 9705:2003
Note: The result was achieved from a fire test room where the ceiling and three walls were lined with 12mm Staron Solid Surface panels.
E3 Internal Moisture compliant, Clause E3.3.4 and E3.3.5: Surfaces are impervious to moisture (non-porous) and are easily cleaned
E3 Internal Moisture compliant, Clause E3.2.0 Overflow: Staron Basins require the use of an overflow kit for compliance in situtations where accidental overflow could damage an adjoining household unit or other property (e.g. apartments).
