Tecsound® SY by Soprema, is a mass loaded sound proofing barrier suitable for lightweight construction with convenient peel and stick application.

  • Soundproofing against airborne noise in vertical walls with a low surface density (lightweight partition walls or boards made of different materials)
  • Soundproofing against airborne and rain noise in ceilings and lightweight roofs
  • Its self-adhesive layer on one side allows its direct application on most building surfaces

Scope of Use
  • Soundproofing against airborne noise in vertical walls with a low surface density (lightweight partition walls or boards made of different materials)
  • Soundproofing against airborne and rain noise in ceilings and lightweight roofs
Limitations on Use
  • Shall not commence until the building is water tight and dry
  • Application temperature shall be between 5—35°C
  • Substrate must be even, clean and dry. Plasterboard joints shall be sealed to avoid adherence problems
