Minimise Risk with Viking Roofspec

Viking's focus hasn’t changed in over 50 years, ensuring absolute risk minimisation through certified systems and services that support specification, installation, product protection and ongoing care.

Technical Support

The team at Viking Roofspec is focused on working with specifiers, design specialists and building owners to understand the key features, environmental factors, structural requirements and desired aesthetic of each project, to ensure the right solution is specified and installed to specification.

Licensing School

The performance of any construction material rests heavily on the standard of workmanship in installation. To ensure these systems are installed correctly and well supported, Viking Roofspec revolutionised the market with an innovative waterproofing licensing programme.

Viking is recognised as an industry leader for its comprehensive curriculum and stringent three-staged hands-on, licensing programme. The licensing programme ensures every installer is applying Viking materials to specification as per the design, with the care, pride and attention to detail to make the job attractive, and more importantly, 100% watertight.

Installers from every Viking Approved Applicator company must either have completed or be in the process of completing this licensing programme to be eligible to install Viking’s materials.

Warranties

Viking Roofspec is committed to using and warranting only tried and proven ‘systems’ provided by internationally renowned manufacturers that re-invest in research and development and testing of products in some of the world’s most sophisticated laboratories. The minimum product warranty period is for 20-years with some of shingle and tile products extending to 50 years.

Projects that represent ‘absolute risk minimisation’ in design, may also be eligible for Viking’s comprehensive Full System Warranty that covers both the materials and the approved applicator’s installation in one document for the building owner.

Product Assurance

Certain areas of New Zealand can be subjected to some of the toughest climatic conditions in the civilised world. Viking Roofspec offers BRANZ appraisals for all their systems, and both Enviroclad and Torch-On CodeMark certified.
